Heart on Main Street helps independent retailers recover and thrive through two main pillars: grants for disaster recovery and education. Through our signature Independent Rebuild Project, we mobilize volunteers and corporate partners to complete fast, high-impact repairs and improvements for retailers hit by natural disasters. This work complements our financial assistance with hands-on support, helping store owners reopen their doors faster, reduce the burden of recovery costs, and restore the essential role they play on their Main Streets. By combining funding, resources, and community action, we’re able to deliver both immediate relief and lasting resilience for independent retailers.
