World Central Kitchen (WCK) is an organization that responds to humanitarian, climate, and community crises by providing meals and building resilient food systems. In 2021, WCK served millions of fresh meals to people impacted by disasters worldwide and trained hundreds of chefs and school cooks. They also advanced clean cooking practices, awarded grants to farms and small food businesses, and registered new affiliates in Haiti and Spain. WCK's long-term programs focus on improving human and environmental health, strengthening food economies, and increasing fair and just food access. They also provide culinary training, support food producers, and have a policy department that coordinates with governments and formulates emergency response policies.
